Well-Attended Second Annual Golf Tournament and Social Proves Superb Networking Opportunity

The members, candidates and industry professionals who attended the Second Annual CFA Seattle Golf Tournament and Social agree that the event proved itself to be an invaluable opportunity to meet Seattle's investment-business leaders and participants. From the golf play to the social and putting game, interaction among attendees flowed effortlessly. The event took place at Interbay Golf Center.

Foursomes teed off beginning at 2 p.m. for a round of strokes play where the better score in each hole was selected to represent the team. Each player's score was used at least once. Non-golfing event attendees joined the social at 4 p.m.

With two teams tied for first place with a score of par, a nail-biter of a tie-breaking putt-out determined the winner on the practice green. Soon after, more than forty of the attendees putted to win wine in CFA Seattle's first-ever Win the Wine putting contest.

The event was scheduled to come to an end at 6 p.m., but thanks to the amicable and collaborative environment among the membership--and the enjoyable weather--this year's golf social concluded just before 8 p.m.

The board extends its thanks to event chair Andrew Bucher and his team of volunteers.
